The new Lumix DMC-TZ7 Hybrid compact digital camera, which is known as
the DMC-ZS3 in the North American and Asian regions is the first compact to record
motion pictures in the AVCHD Lite HD video format.
The new, 10 megapixel Lumix DMC-TZ7/ DMC-ZS3 Hybrid compact, apart
from offering AVCHD Lite HD video capture, comes with a LEICA DC VARIO
ELMAR 25mm ultra-wide-angle lens offering 12x optical zoom extending to
21.4x zoom with the camera’s Extra Optical Zoom function (though
imagery is limited to 3MP using this extended zoom function), Dolby
Digital Stereo Creator for high quality audio recording (to compliment
its AVCHD Lite HD capabilities) and 27 scene modes for stills paired
with a further 16 scene modes related to movie capture.
Say good-bye to complicated settings. Just turn the dial to iA (Intelligent Auto) and the camera will not only help eliminate blurring from hand-shake or subject movement, but it will also detect up to 15 faces and automatically select the focus, exposure and scene modes for the best results.

The DMC-TZ7's Dual Image Dual Image Stabilisation - Mega O.I.S (Optical Image Stabilisation) & High Sensitivity Mode Stabilisation is addressing the two major causes of blurred images: hand movement and subject movement. It incorporates Panasonic's acclaimed MEGA Optical Image Stabilization technology, which uses a gyrosensor to detect and compensate for hand movement by shifting internal lens elements. It is a true optical system; the image is not electronically processed so there is minimal degradation and exceptional picture quality. MEGA OIS is especially important when utilizing the 12x optical zoom as even the smallest hand movement could ruin the shot. With MEGA OIS, the image remains steady.

either a TZ7 or ZS3 depending on what stock we have at the time. Both
cameras are the same in each and every way. Panasonic just give them
different model numbers when they are sold in different regions. Warranty is still Australian. (At this time blue and red is available in ZS3 version only.)
 TZ7 come with Australian charger cord but ZS3 chargers comes with built-in US plug. We will supply 3 FREE
additional travel adapters for the ZS3 model allowing you to use this charger
anywhere in the world.
