Passiflora 'Pandora' is a newly bred Panama type of eating passionfruit.

Grows on a fast-growing, vigorous vine. It climbs by means of clinging tendrils and can be kept as an container plant. The long tendrils need lots of support for climbing.

Produces showy flowers followed by large reddish-purple skinned edible fruit. It produces large fruits like all Panama types and has excellent pulp content, flavour and disease resistance. The fruit are usually around 7-9cm long. Can produce fruit all year, particularly in warmer climates.

Best suited to tropical or sub-tropical climates however it can be grown by southern gardeners if placed on a warm protected wall away from the wind. Regular water and fertiliser will enhance vigor and crop size.

For sale is a packet of 50 fresh seeds.
