PEGASUS III PORTABLE InfraRed V90 DATA MODEM

Comprises a Pegasus III portable V90 data modem, phone line cable, and cigarette lighter power adapter.

The modem can also be operated with 4 x 'AAA' batteries (not included).

There is no serial cable included, but the modem can communicate with any PC that has an IrDA port.

Pegasus III Infrared modem

The Pegasus III infrared modem is a v.90 modem with IrDA infrared port in addition to RS232 port. It comes with a 12 Volt DC adaptor and built-in battery compartment for 4 AAA rechargeable batteries (not included). It also has a small circuit within for automatic power saving operation to give a 2 to 3 time longer battery life compared with that of 3JTech's older versions of infrared modems. The modem is ideal for PDA's, Tablet PC's, etc. which have infrared port. It could also be used with devices like desktop PC's through its serial port (DIN type serial cable not included).
