PEPPERMINT
Mentha piperita
Pure Peppermint Essential Oil is a mental stimulant, promoting mental clarity.
It rouses the conscious mind, encourages positivity and enables one to overcome negative thoughts.
Useful for headaches, mental fatigue, nervous stress, shock, palpitations, vertigo, dizziness and fainting attacks
(cold compress to the head or smelling oil directly from the bottle or by using an oil burner etc).
Pure Peppermint Essential Oil is excellent as an inhalation oil to relieve a congested nose and bronchial tubes
and gives relief from catarrh, sinusitus, colds and flu and bronchial cough.

Makes a wonderful addition to foot balms and it is fantastic in a hot bath with Marjoram to avert the cold or flu
or just as a refreshing lift.
2 - 3 drops used in a facial steam, will help to cleanse congested skin and kill bacteria. This also makes it useful
for the treatment of acne, itching, ringworm etc.
Peppermint Oil is one of the most important oils for treating the digestive system. It stimulates bile production
and stimulates and strengthens the liver. Helps expel gas from the stomach and intestines, easing nausea, stomach
cramps and indigestion.
It is also a good deterrent for insects and rodents who all seem to not take to the smell of peppermint oil
Small quantities only are needed, so use only 0.5% in blends.
PEPPERMINT OIL CAUTION NOTE
Avoid using during pregnancy.
Contact with a few oils like Peppermint or Eucalyptus, can negate the effectiveness of homeopathic remedies, so
store well away from them.
As with all Essential Oils, never take internally except under professional
advice.
