The PERSIAN IMMORTALS used a variety of shield designs with most being as intricate as a Persian rug ALTHOUGH THIS SERIES OF SHIELD IS FAR HARDIER THAN ITS PREDECESSORS that were made from wicker and clad in linen.The IMMORTALS WERE NAMED SO BECAUSE THEIR UNIT STRENGTH NEVER FELL UNDER 10,000 STRONG!!as soon as there were casualties they were replaced. This shield has been designated an officer of the Elite Regiment. 

Wearable as well as wall mountable, it is fully clad in Reptillian embossed  leather and reinforced with steel edges.Shield measures APX: 61 X 46 CMS Upholstery nails and studs used to fasten as well as decorate. Revised from the 'Osprey Men at Arms' series with further revision.
