PERTRONIX IGNITOR KIT 

" Electronic Ignition " 

(LS - Lobe Sensing)

This kit will fit all Nissan Patrol GQ and Ford Maverick models with the TB42, 4.2 litre carburetored petrol engines, and is highly advised upgrade for vehicles running LPG.

 It requires no machining of the shaft, and no need to remove dizzy unlike the older 1762 (magnet hall effect) kit  available, as this kit works off the six flat lobes on the shaft.

This is a cheap and easy fix to most poor running and idleing problems that are common with these vehicle of todays age. The entire ignitor kit fits inside the distributor with NO external parts to get wet ,unlike other kits available on the market and not to mention

NO MORE POINTS to adjust ever again !!

I myself have fitted one of these Pertronix kits to my

1992 Ford Maverick "Dual Fuel" and trully it was very easy. It comes with instructions and takes about fifteen minutes to fit. I could tell the difference straight away. It did have a intemitent miss when cruising at 1500rpm, that has now gone, it also feels smoother and quicker at higher rpm. 

 I can honestly these are very easy and any DIY handyman could do.
