It works exactly the same way as those "magic" clothes brushes that remove lint with a simple wipe in one direction. As can be seen from the picture above the Dustmaster has a large "magic" pad in front followed by the vacuum air slot. The flexible blue collar adapts to all common sizes of vacuum cleaner wands.
