Known variously as ‘Peter Pepper’, this rare variety of chilli produces tasty and hot chilli pepper fruit which are noted for their comedy rude appearance.
This plant will add a hilarious talking point to your patio or greenhouse.
The chilli pepper flesh is similar to Jalapeno chilli peppers (but hotter) and will help to spice up summer BBQs
(use your imagination).

These seeds should be sown under 2cm of fine compost and kept fairly moist. Plant into pots when large enough to handle. Peter Pepper may be grown to maturity indoors in a greenhouse, conservatory or sunny windowsill. Alternatively, Peter may be grown outdoors but all chilli plants dislike cold and do not tolerate frost; this plant will need to be overwintered indoors. If the plant is to be situated outdoors choose a sheltered sunny location and use a cane for support. This variety likes good sun and likes to be kept moist but dislikes waterlogging (being stood in water). Fertilise with a general purpose or specialist tomato fertiliser during the growing season. This variety will grow to a height of 24 inches in a good sized pot
