This is how i hocked this multiplayer adaptor up.Adaptor connects to no1.controller inlet, i used sony playstation controllers, load game and use controller on port A to select vs or singles cup,select 4 players, each controller press x and away you go,you will know if a controller is not compatable as it will not allow you to select all 4 player mode.I have tested it with playstaion controllers and the after market controllers we sell and all work.
