Fabulous children's shoes for toddler or young child. Pure white made by POLL PARROT SHOES. Circa late ‘1930’s-early 1940's we believe. They come in the ORIGINAL BOX that has a paper label with the POLL PARROT logo as well as THE STYLE INFORMATION, etc. There is some pencil handwriting. Label shows Poll Parrot pre-tested shoes for boys and girls. Thrift Grade White Blucher with the numbers 8490-2 on one side and 4110 on the other. Shoes are white stitched leather with brown leather soles and a small 5/8” heel. Shoes are a little dusty from storage. The RIGHT shoe has the POLL PARROT logo with the words “PRE TESTED” and “THRIFT” also embossed in the leather. LIGHT TREAD is embossed on the heel. Shoes measure approx. 8" long and 4” high at the heel. Shoelaces included and it looks like shoes have not been worn or even laced. The box has no lid.  Please look carefully at all the photos. This is quite a find! This item has been carefully stored in a smoke-free home.
