Our Portable Pet Homes / Soft Crates are the perfect travel companion for pet owners on the go. It combines the best features of a portable dog kennel and permanent pet shelter with the lightweight convenience and compact designappreciated by pet owners who demand quality. It weighs 40% less than similar sized plastic shelters and is theideal product for pet shows, travel, camping and for use anywhere your pets goes. It is ideal for temporarily housing all types of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets.
Top, front and side entry doors provide easy access making this home ideal for car travel, especially in station wagons and 4WDs, as your pet can enter / exit from 1 of 3 directions. 3 sides feature roll up shutters which are secured in place using our unique fastening system (unlike other models which rely on 2 - 4 sewn in Velcro tabs per window / door which are unattractive and will deteriorate over time). Mosquito Proof tough mesh can be found at all 4 openings providing adjustable ventilation.
Accessories include a convenient travel bag (with shoulder strap and storage pocket for treats, leash, toy etc) which is colour matched to your pet home. A sheepskin (mock wool) pad insert with removable / reversible and washable cover which provides great support and comfort for your pet. There is a generous sized pocket on one side of the home which is accompanied by a deep pocket which is ideal for storing water bottles. At the rear of the home you will also find a large pocket. There is also a provision for attaching a water feeder device which is secured in place by a thick elastic bottle holder and will provide your pet with access to water from within the home. Four tent pegs / stakes are supplied enabling you to secure your home to the ground when outdoors.
Our Portable Pet Homes are so versatile and extremely popular in the Cat World. The XL and XXL home provide ample room for cat bedding, a litter tray and a small scratching post. When given the freedom to come and go as they please, cats and kittens will choose to spend hours playing chase and hide and seek in and around their home. When they have had enough of play the pet home makes a wonderful cosy retreat for them to recoup in.
Cat and dog breeders use them at shows and they are an ideal substitute for kittening and whelping boxes as they provide much need security and privacy. Young puppies (before they grow their destructive teeth) and kittens can be confined to the Pet Home whilst the mother can use the open roof feature as an exit point.
The home is made of heavy-duty, tough 600-denier polyester for strength and durability and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. A waterproof PVC coating backs the fabric making this unit water-resistant. Product is only classed as water-resistant as opposed to waterproof because of material around the zipper on top.
