PORTRAIT TRIO ENGLAND 22K GOLD~ Cup, Saucer & Plate








ITEM DETAILS:  The transfer printed pattern is, I believe, taken from original Dutch Oil paintings, and are different on the cup, saucer and plate.  They all depict scenes of Elizabethan courting couples.  Very bright and vibrant.    The Gold floral border is just beautiful.  All edges and the cup handle are gilded! 

I believe this trio was manufactured by the Aynsley Pottery, as I have had several identical trios which have had Aynsley stamped over with the same words as this one (Genuine Bone China Made in England).  I think they are seconds, as there are a few imperfections.

SIZE:   Normal - Cup 7cms high, saucer 14cms in diameter and plate 20cms in diameter.

DECORATION:  Pictures are taken from original Dutch Oil Paints.  Intricate 22kt Gold decoration.

CONDITION:    All three items are in good vintage condition being free from cracks or chips, however, there are a couple of manufacturing flaws.  One is a glazed over fault on the inside back rim of the cup, and the gilded paintwork is below par.
