POWER POINT EARTH LEAKAGE TESTER Test your power points using this versatile tester. It checks most types of power points within 230V to 240V range for correct wiring and trip levels for earth leakage circuit breakers. The combination of lights on the front panel identifies the following problems: No Earth connected No Neutral connected No Active connected Active and Neutral reversed Active and Earth Reversed To determine ELCB trip levels simply slide the switch from 10mA up toward 100mA. All ELCB's should trip before 100mA. Switch positions are 10 mA,15 mA,30 mA and 100 mA Typical accuracy- Test current +- 1.75ma at 240V Weight: 250g We all know that people have power points connected every now and then by someone who may not be qualified. Do you know you can wire a power point incorrectly but it can still work. This can be extremely dangerous, at least with this earth leakage protector there is no guessing. It tells you if it is connected correctly. You only have once chance with power so why take the risk. We recommend all wiring should be carried out by a licensed electricial contractor. Always check the tester on a power point which you will know to work. Do not leave the tester plugged into a power point for more than two hours. If for any reason you weren't home your item will be returned to your local post office ready for collection at your convenience. Our products are rigourously tested for reliability and quality. On the very rare occasion you receive a faulty item, it must be returned to us by Australia Post Registered mail at buyers expense.
