FILM QUALITY

QUALITY

We supply the exact same film your buying, to professional tinting shops all over Australia. All our films are fully Metalised.

HEAT REJECTION

Our Black films are fully metalised, this means there coated with tiny metal particles that reject heat by reflecting the sun's rays and therefore not trasmitted into the car.

GOING PURPLE

Because we don't dye our metalized films, they are guaranteed not to go purple and to last longer than non-metallized films.

BUBBLING

Our metalized films use the highest quality materials.
Did you know that other brands use dye and cheap glue in their films, which is what makes there film bubble and fade?

INSTALATION

INSTRUCTIONS

Once you purchase ebay will automaticly send you an email with a link to the step by step instructions and installation videos, you can also search for protinting and you will find our instructions.

TOOLS

You must buy the tools the professionals use, other wise you will not remove all the water from under the film and this will cause bubbles and your film to peel. The Yellow turbo squeegee is a must at a minium and is what the professionals use 80% of the time. Have a look at our other listings for the right tools for your job.

COMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q.         What’s the difference between DYED & METALIZED films?

A.         Metallized films reject heat by reflecting it before it can be transferred through the glass and have a longer life span than dyed films.

Dyed films absorb heat onto the glass and only loose the heat with the wind speed traveling past the glass. Dyed films will bubble and go purple over time and don’t last as long as metalized films.

Q.         Why do films go PURPLE?

A.         Dyed films will go purple over time, some within months or a couple of years depending on the sun exposure. Some lower quality metalized films will go purple over time as well because they only have a very small amount of metalizing done to them, just to get them onto the metalized film market. The films go purple because the UV bleaches the dye in the film.

Q.         Why do films BUBBLE?

A.         Bubbling is also a problem that dyed films suffer from, the bubbles are a result of a failure in the adhesive system due to high exposure to UV rays. This happens to dyed films because they are less resistant to UV rays.

Q.         How dark can I tint my car LEGALLY?

A.         In most states in Australia the legal limit is 35% VLT (visual light transmittance). This means that there must be at least 35% of the light transferring through the glass.

Q.         Can I tint my FRONT WINDSCREEN?

A.         No it is illegal to tint you front windscreen.

Q.         Which film will reduce the HEAT the best?

A.         Heavy metalized films give the best heat rejection rating, as the more metal in the film the more heat it will reject. Lighter 30-35% VLT films reject more heat than 5-20% films. This is because darker colours naturally attract and store more heat from the sun, like a black car is always hotter than a white car. This is the same with films.

Q.         How hard is it to install window tint myself?

A.         If you take your time and watch the instruction video and read the instructions carefully you will be fine. The correct tools are also a must, the wrong tools will leave water bubbles under the film and cause air bubbles once that water dries.
