Please be aware that there is a small handling fee of $4.50 included in the shipping amount to cover the cost of purchasing shipping insurance and to purchase packing supplies to TRY to insure the safe delivery of your item. Because I am a small seller, I am unable to purchase these supplies at wholesale prices & they are expensive. Most of what I sell is breakable, so its not as easy as plopping the item in a free box from the Post Office. Also because of this I feel that insurance is mandatory. If you feel that it is unreasonable to pay this, please Do Not Bid.

FYI, the USPS continues to significantly raise their rates. Their rates now not only depend on the size of the package, but also the weight & zone distance from where I live. The biggest variables in shipping rates are the new DIM (dimensional) rates that all of the carriers have adopted. This can turn a lightweight but large item into a featherweight big package with a big surcharge equal to the postage on a 40 pound package. Keeping this in mind, I make every attempt to keep Shipping & Handling Fees Reasonable. I usually ship twice a week (after receiving payment). If you have special needs, please let me know & I will try to accommodate. Shipping fees are non-refundable as they are paid to the USPS.  

I ALWAYS combine shipping for multiple purchases (if purchased within 24 hours of each other) to save the purchaser money. Because I don't prepackage my items before the end of the auction (sometimes there are questions) I won't know exactly how much shipping will cost for combined items because the shipping calculator automatically applies the discounted shipping amount based on the combined weight of the items. This doesn't occur until after the auction closes & the invoice is created by the system. The shipping calculator automatically calculates the rate based on the weight, plus the $4.50 Handling fee.

For International customers, please understand that I will only ship either Express Mail International or Priority Mail International. Only these 2 services allow door-to-door tracking. Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

Please Note* As of March 1, 2008 I will no longer offer Parcel Post as a shipping option for my auctions. Because Ebay has instituted such stringent guidelines for DSR's (Detailed Sellers Ratings) for sellers in feedback & I have no control over the fact that the USPS takes so long in delivering this type of shipping service, I really don't want to subject myself to receiving poor DSR Ratings (less than 5) because of the inefficiency of the USPS as well as the fact that it seems that the longer the USPS has a package the more opportunities they have to break the items that are inside.
