COSMODERM PROFESSIONAL HAIR REMOVER

Made in Germany

This professional hair remover has hardy been used and is in excellent condition. It was purchased by a relative for about $4000.00 (more in today's $) about 18 years ago for a beauty shop that was closed down soon after. It has has been in storage ever since and comes in original box. There is no manual inside and I don't know too much about them.

Company Profile

Cosmoderm is a family history. Since 1977, Baer founded by Hugo apparative Manufactur cosmetic devices and treatment beds has targeted ideas of quality and service. Hugo Bear, considered by the beauty next door to distributors throughout the world, composed of numerous patents and enriched by the device world. 1984 his son Joachim Trump took over the management of Bear Equipment and Properties forge. Through his tragic and sudden death in 1994, threatened to sink the traditional company. Fate, however, brought together two independently constructed and intellectually but closely related businesses.

Anne Rose and Peter Reichert, managing director of the company Reichert GmbH, took over as the largest subcontractor of Cosmoderm the traditional company. Concern about the loss of the company was appeased. The new Cosmoderm Reichert GmbH has followed the tradition and set new standards in the warranty. Through computer-controlled production Cosmoderm dropped to the delight of customers the price. 1997, Frank Reichert, another family member, the company entered. The young engineer designed the first computer-controlled treatment table with saved positions, infrared remote control and pneumatic lumbar support.

I plugged it in and it powers up ok and when the foot pedal is pressed the HF (High Frequency) light comes on obviously sending electricity to the tip/pen for hair removal. Unit requires thin needle (not expensive) which can be purchased from cosmetic shops or suppliers of hair removal. The power is set for use in Australia as label has 220V

It has an intensity dial going from 0 to 10 that is set depending on the thickness of the hair
