-     This is a very rare and hard to find item, especially in this nice condition, with no damage, and the majority of the gilded bronze finish intact.   A combination desk set, letter holder and bookends or bookrack or shelf in metal.

-     Art Nouveau circa 1900 with original number on it on the bottom of each rack end, meaning it is Judd Foundry.  It is huge, double letter holders and the bookshelf in between that lengthens to hold more books from 18 inches to 28 inches long.  The ends are 5 inches tall by 7 wide with 4 inches to hold letters in the space.

-    Very Mucha type lovely lady with long flowing hair facing the same at each end, perhaps a goddess or wood nymph,  at each end.   This is so useful and so rare to find in good condition, very little finish loss and no damage.   The owl was the symbol of the Goddess of Wisdom Artemis so associated with books!!!
