For sale a Lovely Pair Grosbeak Bird Figurine.

Height 19.5 cm. Width 12 cm. Depth 8 cm.

We believe it to be Pine Grosbeak birds. All hand painted with the mother having a scarlet red body that starts part way down the tail and rises and spreads to both wings, above her head and around her breast. Yellow plummage under her belly and down to her under tail. Lower part of her tail has dark streaks that goes down to a green colored tail. White across the tail. The wings are a dark green with white across her wing. she has black on the front above her beak and goes around her eyes. The baby has the same coloring but the tail is much shorter. They are perched on a brown colored tree trunk with grass at the base.  

There is a small chip near mothers right foot to the stump she stands on, and an intact chip under the foot on the left hand side. No cracks or crazing. Has Made In Japan on the base.
