Colour Matrix Arrangement

Panasonic's accumulated know-how has made it possible to correct colours without causing colour deterioration. The colour density is optimised in the intermediate shades, and the colour levels that are close to saturation are finely adjusted to prevent colour deterioration. By retaining vivid colour shades, it faithfully reproduces even the finest image details.

24p Smooth Film

Enjoy smooth 24p movies and familiar TV-like quality. In Plasma displays, increasing the number of frames creates smoother images. When reproducing images from a 24p movie source, VIErA's 24p Smooth Film function generates smooth, natural-looking images.

Sub-Pixel Controller for outstanding images with reduced jagged edges

This system maintains the image contours by adjusting each R, G and B dot within a pixel to deliver smooth contour lines even at diagonal sections, where jagged lines are normally conspicuous on a large screen.
