If you presently get good analogue TV reception and are not yet ready to upgrade to a digital TV - or are now using a Set Top Box - this Panasonic DMR-ES10 DVD Recorder will enable you to play DVDs and make high-quality TV recordings direct to inexpensive (approx 40 cents/disc), blank DVD disks (up to 8 hours on one disc). I generally record in the LP (4-hour) mode, which still gives very good quality (*** see photos 2 & 3 above).

I've upgraded to an HD Digital TV and DVD Recorder and no longer need this excellent Panasonic DVD Recorder.

Analogue TV will continue until the end of 2113 which means that this Panasonic recorder will give you over 4 years of inexpensive, high- quality recording (and will, of course, continue to play multi-region DVDs beyond 2113).

It is made in Japan and features: 1 Sec Quick-Start Recording, Timeslip functions and Multi-Format recording and playback (which means that you can play DVDs from any region around the world). It's in perfect working order, has a smart modern appearance and comes as a complete package with all supplied accessories: an excellent remote (with batteries); operator manual; AC mains lead; RF coaxial cable; audio-video cable and comes in the original packaging (this original packaging is a little dented as it's been in storage but will provide safe shipping. The unit itself is in excellent condition).
