This auction is for a DVD/PVR Recorder with 3 years warranty.

The DMR-XW450 features Twin High Definition (HD) Digital Tuners that allow you simultaneous 2 channels recording in High Definition whilst enjoying DVD playback, all at the same time.

The hybrid digital tuner offers HD/SD recording. The HDMI connection, recorded images are transmitted with no deterioration for high quality reproduction.

The integrated twin tuner allows for Digital broadcasting reception without the use of an external tuner incorporated into a set-top box. The built-in 500 GB Hard Disk Drive lets you record an enormous amount of programming without using a DVD. You can also download your entire music (CD) collection on the HDD at pure CD quality and still have ample room to record your favorite movies in HD for days on end. It also gives the listener options similar to the iPod (favorites, recently played, random play etc), and comes with its own in-built Gracenote directory which will identify the CD by name, artist, songs etc and even works with burnt CD’s.

The Panasonic unit supports a plethora multi-format capability for recording and playback feature. Formats included and not limited to: DVD-RAM (with and without cartridge), DVD-R, and DVD-R DL, DV-RW, DVD + R, DVD + R DL, DVD + RW and more.

The DMR-XW450 will record 16:9 Aspect Ratios (Widescreen) when receiving Widescreen input from either HD or SD Digital broadcast transmission.

All the regular audio formats are on board with DTS, Dolby Digital 5.1, MP3, DIVX etc. USB and JPEG playback are also available and firmware upgrades including sites like U-tube are available via internet access.

This Recorder normally sells for $1199 with only a 12 month warranty in retail stores.

The unit is in as new condition without any blemishes or scratches and has very little use. Included in this package is the DVD unit, remote, user guide, receipt and original box.

I have upgraded to a media centre as my reason for selling.
