Paper in oil (PIO) Capacitor .022uf NOS 630v

 Up for sale are some russian tone caps.... 

k42y2  .022 630v

These are very similar in composition to the k40y-9 caps also listed in my other auctions... and exactly the same size - the benefit of these particular caps are their size (larger voltage smaller size)

In guitars:

The k40y-9 at full value these leave a nice harmonic warm sound, taking the edge off the treble..

Have tried with seymour duncan 59's and stock pickups on a few guitars - they sound quite nice... much nicer than standard ceramic caps found in most guitars.

From the research i've done the k42y2 caps are slighlty grittier than the k40y-9 (which leave a creamy smooth sound)

Will combine postage... these are small so basically postage cost will stay more or less the same for multiple purchases.

If you have any queries or need wiring instructions let me know... i will print out a wiring diagram for you and include it in the package.

I followed up with a buyer, after the install they found:

"im amazed at how much of a
difference it made!...smooth, creamy, takes of the
tops a fraction...all great and a real improvement
over the standard ceramic...and all this without
moving the tone control!!..."
