Patchouli
(Pogostemon cablin)

This is a 12ml bottle of 100% Pure essential Oil

Aroma: Earthy, Spicy Rich, Musky, Strong.

Physical uses: Chapped dry skin; Stretch marks; Moth repellent; Milia (whiteheads).

General household: Repels moths, ants and mosquitos

Cautions: Over use has a sedative effect.

How to use: Vaporiser/burner; Massage, Massage, Skin & haircare.

Blends with: Bergamot, Clary Sage, Lemongrass, Lavender, Geranium, Myrrh.

Patchouli oil has a beneficial effect on the skin, helps reduce infection and heal insect bites. Assists in reducing water retention and cellulite and can help with stress related problems and addictions.

In Burners and vaporizers: Patchouli oil can be used to fight anxiety and depression, while creating a calm atmosphere. Also acts as an insect repellent.
As a blended massage oil or in the bath: Patchouli oil can help to fight depression through olfaction;eases skin and scalp complaints and fungal infections such as tinea and is very effective for acne especially milia (whiteheads) . It helps to reduce fluid retention, break down cellulite and can assist with constipation, overweight problems and dermatitis.
Neat: Patchouli oil can be applied neat with a cotton bud on insect bites and on milia (whiteheads).
Lotions and creams: In a lotion or cream, patchouli oil can be used for general skin care, as it has superb tissue regenerating properties, to help rejuvenate the skin and stimulate the formation of new skin cells, while fighting infections. It also speeds up healing, while preventing the wound forming ugly scars , eczema, weeping sores, ulcers, slow healing wounds, scalp disorders, as well as other fungal infections, such as athlete's foot.

General do's and dont's for essential oil use

Do not take Essential Oils internally except under professional advice.

Store away from heat and light.

Keep out of the reach of children. Contact the poisons hotline if accidents occur.

Do not put any essential oil directly on the skin except Lavender or Tea Tree.

Check each individual oil for their special properties and cautions.

Be aware of synthetic or fragrance oils. Purchase your oils in Amber, Blue or Green bottles..this protects your precious oils from the light.... and buy only from a trustworthy source. Genuine oils will have the common name, the botanical or family name, and place of origin written on the label.

I can get up to 500gms in a pre-paid postal satchel for $5.70 and up to 3kgs in a pre-paid postal satchel for $9.90. Insurance costs $2.80 and is optional and recommended for oil burners.
I am happy to combine items purchased within a 7 day period. So buy everything you want over a period of a week and save on postage costs.
