this  is the EBay account for South Eastern Communications; south eastern Communications has been trading in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, for around 5 years

South Eastern Communications, Trades Buys sells and repairs radio communications equipment and surplus electronic equipment as well as a few other bits we may come across in our travels

Most of our trade is done off line with Emergency service workers and volunteers,  however with a lot of surplus gear EBay is a quick and easy way for us to clear out some of our trade in and surplus items that we obtain from trade ins auctions sales private buys markets etc

PAYMENT TERMS

• - If you are located within Australia. A tax invoice will be provided. Our Australian Business Number
• - All non-cash payments must be completely cleared into my bank /PAYPAL account before anything will be shipped.
• - All transactions are subject to shipping and handling fees in addition to payment for the item(s) you have won, with the exception of items that are picked up directly from me, when there is only the handling fee. See the general section above.
• - Payments are accepted in Australian dollars only.
• - If you're a winning bidder located in Australia, direct deposits or online transfers (ie. EFT) into my bank account are the preferred form of payment. If you would like to pay for an auction by direct deposit or EFT, you can use Ebay's Bank Deposit Express feature to securely access my bank account details, otherwise I can email them to you.

      Any items you win or decide to purchase using a buy-it-now facility must be    paid for within 7 working days  after the listing has ended.

If your payment is not received within this timeframe, I reserve the right to use Ebay's unpaid-item process to achieve a successful result. If an item still remains unsold then you will forfeit your right to buy the item and I may re-list the item if I decide it's in my best interests to do so. Please also see my feedback + non-paying bidder policy below.

• Do not bid if you do not intend to buy the item.

Before bidding, please ensure you read our Sales Conditions, including our Exchange Policy and Non-Paying Policy. Placing a bid on an item or using our "Buy it Now" option enters you into a legal contract.

·         Non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.

·         do our best to present accurate, detailed information on every item we list.  Occasionally some variations may occur in colour, model, specifications or other aspects.

• Accidental bidding/purchase is unacceptable as it is your responsibility to have knowledge of the use of eBay site and warnings are provided prior to enter into this agreement.
• The act of bidding or using “buy it now” is solely the responsibility of the eBay account holder, allowing the use by others is NOT our responsibility, and you agree that any other parties that use your account to do so with your approval and act as your agent/representative.

Shipping

·         - The winning bidder of an auction is required to pay all shipping costs as well the final selling price of the item(s) concerned before the item(s) will be shipped, along with any handling fee if shipping has been negotiated after a listing has ended and no shipping quote was provided or requested beforehand.

·         - Australia Post has a weight limit of 20 kg gross for all parcels, and for parcels shipped within Australia there is a maximum girth limit of 140 cm. Any item that will, when packed, result in a parcel exceeding those limits cannot be shipped with Australia Post.

Very large, bulky and/or fragile items which cannot (or should not!) be shipped with Australia Post will require courier delivery, the costs for which are highly variable. All such items will be shipped with Pack & Send who provide both packaging and freight forwarding services, unless you have an account with a different courier and arrange shipping yourself

Non-bulky items with a value exceeding $500 will only be shipped using Australia Post's Registered Mail service, and will be insured unless you specify otherwise (and accept the liability for uninsured shipping). These additional costs must be paid along with the cost of the item(s) before any high-value domestic shipment will be despatched.

I can provide shipping quotes for various options. All shipping and handling costs must be paid before any international shipment will be despatched.

• Items will not be sent until payment is received in full.
• Please allow up to 7 working days for items to be delivered Australia-wide to allow for unexpected transit delays.
• Ple Unfortunately pick up is not available - NO EXCEPTIONS.
• Please ensure the postal address on your eBay account is correct and up-to-date.
• Buyers will be charged a re-delivery fee for items that are undelivered and returned to the us as a result of incorrect delivery details, unsuccessful delivery or unclaimed items. This fee will be the full cost of original Postage & handling.
• Understand that we do not control Australia Post transit times. 
• Packages are packed to the best of our ability , you will or may notice that we try and recycle were possible , in forms of packaging and box’s however we cannot me responsible for damage while in transit

Feedback and Unpaid Items

eBay feedback is an optional invaluable indicator of a buyer or seller's reputation on eBay. It is the foundation of trust on eBay.

In the past, we have been "blackmailed" several times by "eBay scammers artists" after leaving them positive feedback first that "if we do not send more items for free or give them a full refund" they will leave us a negative feedback. Our eBay account manager has suggested implementing the policy of not leaving the feedback first and leave it only after we receive it from the customers.

Our automated feedback system is now setup to post a feedback automatically after it has been left to us by our customers. No exceptions.

We DO NOT leave feedback first - if you do not agree with our policy please DO NOT bid!!!

We will not grant a return if negative feedback is left before an effort is made to resolve the issue. Please contact us with any questions or concerns before leaving a neutral or negative feedback.

If you have ANY problems with your item, have any question, or simply need help - please give us a call ASAP we are here to help you and will NOT leave you in the cold!!!

• Feedback will be made AFTER you receive your item, have a chance to look it over, and YOU HAVE LEFT FEEDBACK!

Be AWARE! If you do not call us to work out any problems before leaving negative feedback, YOU will be left negative feedback

• Negative feedback should be your very last resort. We try very hard to satisfy our customers, let us help you!
• Non-Paying bidders will be addressed according to the eBay Non-Paying Bidder Policy .

• All our items are listed as private listings for your discretion.  Even after you have left positive feedback, the items you have purchased will not be displayed.
• Automatic postive feedback will be left for all transactions once positive feedback has been received.

UNPAID Items

• - If no contact is received within 7 days (either directly initiated, or in response to emails sent by me), Ebay's unpaid item process will be used to encourage you to complete the sale.
• - As an alternative, should you decide not to complete a transaction you can opt to pay a non-negotiable fee of A$50 plus Ebay's listing and final-value fees into my Paypal account.
• - If you do not complete a sale (subject to the outcome of Ebay's unpaid item process), negative feedback may be left for you at my discretion, in addition to (but not directly connected with) Ebay's system recording an unpaid item strike against your Ebay membership record.

·        All Items are checked before listing to the best of our ability however due to the quantity of items checks are basic turn on /off power just the basics ,

·        You will be added to our customer database , we keep a database of all of our customers this is used for our tracking and marketing  this remains confidential and be assured this will not be passed on or sold to any one

·        A copy of terms and condition (this document ) will be sent with item as well as a receipt
