This is a stunning drawing I bought from an antique shop in Brisbane, I love it but just no longer have room for all our paintings so have to downsize. The drawing is very detailed and depicts a maritime battle scene. It has been professionally framed in a beautiful art-nouveau style carved dark timber frame. The matt is forest green and has a coupld of age spots if you look closely. The drawing itself looks perfect to me. There is a chip to one corner on the rear of the frame, not noticeable when it's hung. On the rear of the frame is the followng info:
'Cannon, canvas, and Men of Steel'
(pencil and graphite powder)
Norman C. Smith
(followed by a QLD address, presumably that of the artist.)
