Penstemon Sensation Mix
Penstemon cultivar
This plant is not on the Australian Noxious Weed List.
 
Penstemon Sensation mix are a group of long flowering, large flower hybrids that includes several Mexican species and one from the  midwest USA. Preferring a sunny position in soils that are moist in summer and dry in winter. Neutral to alkaline soils of moderate to low fertility suit them best.
The plant bears clusters of chubby, trumpet shaped flowers from late spring through summer. Flower colours include red, blue, purple, pink and cream, often with contrasting white throats. Water requirements are low and plantings will last about 4 years.
Plants grow to 30cm with flower stems reaching thigh high. An excellent plant for cottage gardens or as a border.
 
Offered is a packet of  100 seeds complete with Grownotes to assist you in their propagation.
 
All my seed is posted in bubble wrap protection.
