PRACTICE HANDWRITING YOUR OWN NAME

Teach your child to recognize and write their name confidently with these personalized A4 sized name card templates/stencils.  Your child’s name will be printed on a sheet 4 times on a card with a plastic surface. This is so they can practice writing by tracing their name using any whiteboard marker and wipe it clean with a tissue or rag for re-use.

Their name will be one of the first words their teachers will encourage them to write and it will be a word that they will see on a regular basis (e.g. on their art work etc).  For this reason, it is worth starting off by writing their name even if they are not yet able to write the whole alphabet yet.

The handwriting style is called Zaner-Bloser which is the recognized standard for all Australian & American primary schools. The print is deliberately large and is suitable for 3 to 6 year olds to make it easier for them to begin their writing journey.

1. The first line will be the “model” for them to make reference to. In includes numbered arrows to show the directions of the strokes.

2. The second line will be a faint/grey font with guidelines so your child can practice

3. The third line is dotted with guidelines

4. The fourth line is just dotted without the guidelines so your child can progress their practicing

Please note that this includes a first name and a surname.  Additional charges applies for additional names on the same card.

PRACTICE THE ALPHABET

The Alphabet will be printed on the other side of the same card in both upper and lower case in grey with guidelines.  This is so your child can trace and practice the whole alphabet as well.

If you prefer to receive your name and alphabet sheet in soft copy via email instead then you will not need to pay any postage.  You can choose to laminate it yourself or simply reprint copies onto paper as needed.
