signed/etched/scratched on the back Foltyn.  Petr Folytn (b1941-) is a Czech glass maker.

nice chunk of art glass.

art deco styling. one side curved.  mix of linear and curvilinear design.

color is like a pink.  or concord grape jelly.  or raspberry.

measures about a little under 6 by 6 inches, about 2 inches tall. 

curves to the lower right on top surface might suggest ashtray use.  but don't really think it's an ashtray.

heavy object weighing about 3 lbs.

condition?  to the lower left corner of top surface, there is minute chipping.  this has resulted in a crack into the item.  about .25 inch long. at angle.  it cannot be felt on the outer edges of that corner. 

otherwise light surface scuffing, signs of wear and handling. 

nice piece. very clean lines.
