Published by Sidgwick & Jackson Ltd this is the 1st English translation, it was published in 1952 under a different title in French.  Translated by Gerard Hopkins.  It is excursions in Undersea Archaeology.  A rare book.  In good condition, it does not have a dustjacket.  There are various photgraphs, and there is a map in the early part of the book.  The spine has faded slighly, but the words are still legible in gold on the blue covered book.  No loose pages, binding firm, no writing inside, clean and tidy.
