Mount your items with the double sided tape.
Fit the back of the frame in place with the Nail Driver
Seal the back of the frame with the brown backing tape

This nifty little tool is great for inserting brads (small nails) into the backs of picture frames. It is primarily a handheld nail insertion tool. It has a magnetic tip, wooden handle and a retractable metal nail guide. Just place a brad in the tip, the magnet will pick it up, and it will now be in the correct position for insertion. Align the edge of the frame against a supporting surface. ( wall, piece of timber etc.) Then, position the tool where you require the brad... and just push it in. The barrel of the tool retracts, as the nail is driven home. It works with softwoods, and hardwoods. There is also a metal area on the handle, designed for striking with a hammer if required. ( usually not necessary)

Safety Tip. Always place the frame against a supporting surface... NEVER, just hold the frame in your other hand. If you should slip... a brad nail protruding from the palm of your hand ... is not a good look.

Do not underestimate the usefulness of this tool.....do you have a lot of picture framing to do? .... but, can't justify the cost of a Flexi Point Driver gun? .... This is the next best choice. Previous purchasers of this tool.... say they "just love it" !!! Very simple, fast and easy to use.... and best of all... it uses very cheap brads.
