Create the perfect baby's nursery by adding one of these most beautiful lightweight summer french style Marseilles quilts that I have ever seen. This embroidered baby's quilt is 100% white on the back and on the front there is a square of pink, white and mint green baby roses which are really soft and faded out so they look antique. The quilt has a border of white scalloped edging which adds that gorgeous feminine touch. My baby has this quilt as her summer quilt with a soft white chenille blanket. It is just a classic piece that you can hand down for generations to come. I have never seen anything so pretty so I hope that you will also love this. The size is 1mx1m at the highest points on the scalloped edges. The french design their quilts different to ours. They don't tuck them in at the base, so the quilt sits perfectly in the cot and hangs over the sides to about the base of the mattress. I am always conscious of SIDS so perfect as there is no loose fabric. The quality is amazing as 100% cotton but I would still hand wash it. The wadding is also produced from cotton. It comes with a sham. You need to purchase though your own cushion to go in the sham. These pictures are taken on my cot which is the largest american / european style so it will be fine for all cots.
