Pink Grindley Petal Ware Milk Jug Larger Size

Check out my other three jug listings also. This jug is a partner (same pattern) to its smaller brother I have listed, it has a very subtle colour difference, but this may be a variation in the colourways of the batches. This jug has no chips, no cracks, no crazing it has a small amount of wear to the top of the handle, this is usual for this type of dinnerware and does not detract from its character, overall it is in good condition.

The jug measures 17cm from lip to handle and is 12cm high.

The jug has the black Grindley Petal Ware backstamp as shown in the photos. It has a scalloped decorative pattern around the top of the jug. This is a larger size jug. As mentioned it has no chips etc, but as usual with this mass produced dinnerware some pieces have small underglaze bumps, especially on their bases/bottoms where they would have been placed on stands when being fired. I tell people this to be as accurate as possible with my listings.

My wife has a large collection of PINK dinnerware that she has decided to part with. It does look wonderful as a collection on display. So stay tuned for a lot more items that I will be listing over the next week. I have meat plates, tureen, dinner plates, entree plates, biscuit plates, soup bowls, more jugs, coffee cans and saucers etc. All items are very similar in colour and come mainly from the Meakin, Grindley factories but there is also some Johnston Bros and Beswick. So if you like the retro look or that shabby sheik look, or that country type atmosphere that these pieces achieve on display....keep looking back.

I am more than happy to combine postage. I charge the postage cost only, and use "recycled" packing where possible.  I believe in sending items packed how I like to receive them, so your items will be well packed! I do however suggest insurance to be taken out on shipping, as no matter how well I pack your item, damage can still happen in transit. Please check my feedback.
