Have all of Deko’s unique and powerful character manipulation tools at your fingertips.  You can move, scale, rotate, skew or kern on a character, row or layer basis.  Execute all file management commands with a single touch — save, open, close, find and browse are instantly accessible.  Access a sequence instantly with one-touch commands for both compose and playback functions.  Revise graphics right up to air time with fast access to text and graphic composition.  Reduce on-air errors and cut down proof-reading time with one-touch spell-checking.  Integrate text and still store functions for even faster on-air operations.

Dedicated DekoObjex key gains the user instant access to DekoObjex Playback Controller for playing object-based Actions to air including continuous crawls, tickers, looping bugs and video squeeze-back. Actions are numbered for easy playout while holding down the DekoObjex key.

Preset Macro FAK key enables the user to define a preset group of functions for automating repetitive tasks — such as hiding layers, starting and stopping clocks, swapping rows of text and so on. The possibilities are endless.

FAK keystrokes invoke Deko’s Clip Editor for fast and convienient access to the ClipBrowser. FAK arrow keys advance frame by frame through video clips for precise control of Clip fill and key edits.

For operation in a dimly lit room, the FastAction Keyboard has highly visible edge-lit special function keytops to give mode status at-a-glance during program operation.  Always know the status of your system with the FastAction Keyboard’s “at-a-glance” feedback indicator lights and 40-character information display window.
