This is a very rare GOLD Polaroid SX 70.

This gold SX 70 has the unique serial number #47 (see photo).

The SX 70 is an iconic Polaroid and this limited edition GOLD version is a unique item.

Unlike all other Polaroids, it's an single lens reflex design or SLR...And it's manual focus using your eyeball ! So what you see is really what you get.

The high quality glass lens (most other polaroid lenses are plastic) allows for very close focussing as well, and because you can see through the lens, highly creative results can be produced.

This camera is highly sought after by visual artists for this very reason and the polaroid film can also be easily manipulated during it's development for creative results.

Although Polaroid were known more for their cheaper cameras, this camera produces consistently high results because of it's SLR lens design and near macro focussing abilities. Other accesories were also made, such as flash unit's, filter kits, remote releases and self timers (not included here)

This camera works and has some marks on the leather (see photo). It's likely that some of them can be cleaned but I have chosen not to attempt this.

It closes and stays latched.
