~ C1830's Port Macquarie Convict Brick ~

This is the real thing - a genuine convict made brick. It has been hand-made in a mold with the typical convict broad arrow imprint.

Port Macquarie was a convict penal settlement between 1821 to 1846.

This is a very early brick and is in good condition, with molding marks. This is an excellent example of the many variations of the broad arrow.  Measures 4in Width, 9in Length, 2 1/2in Depth and comes with Brickmaking History of Port Macquarie.
