Over the next couple weeks, I'll be listing my vintage/antique furniture hardware. Drawer pulls, knobs, escutcheons, decoratives, etc. Plus the usual mix of interesting stuff.

Here's a pair of solid brass antique door latch posts. Probably from an old oak ice box or chest. Pics show the style.
Hand polished for your convenience.

Used, circa late 1800s.
Condition/Flaws:
Damage free VG condition. Have some general wear at in the latch strike areas.
Please Note:
In order to preserve original patina and to show true condition, I do not touch up, or otherwise "doctor" the hardware. I do hand clean it all with mild soap & water. I also sometimes hand polish it as noted in the description.
As always, condition is typically better than described & shown.
I am always happy to combine shipment of multiple purchases to save you money on shipping costs.

Shipping costs are auto-calculated by eBay shipping calculator. I list the service options that are the most cost effective for the specific item. You can choose the shipping service you prefer from the invoice menu.
All shipments are insured. All shipments are processed online & include delivery confirmation. You should receive an email with shipment info when I process the shipment.
Packing & Handling:
I pack everything to eBay approved standards using a combination of new and clean recycled packing materials. I have packed & shipped thousands of fragile items without damage.My handling charges help cover the cost of packing material and are included in the shipping price. They are very reasonable. Typically $1.00 for small easy to pack items. Up to $3.00 for larger & fragile items that need more material.
Multiple Purchase Shipping Discounts:
My eBay shipping calculator is set up to calculate multiple item shipping discounts.The final cost is based on the combined weight of the items and assume they can be safely packed in one package. I confirm the calculator price at USPS.com. If the USPS price is less than the calculator price, I invoice based on the lower price.

ALL USPS shipments valued $250.00+ MUST INCLUDE the USPS "Signature Confirmation" OPTION.
Note: USPS provides package tracking for Express Mail shipments ONLY. Point to point tracking IS NOT available on Priority, Parcel Post, First Class, or Media Mail.
International Shipping Options:

USPS: Priority Mail Int.; contents value less than $250.00.
USPS Express Mail Int.; contents value $250.00 or more.
MUST INCLUDE Insurance & Return Receipt.
Due to PayPal/USPS regulations, Express Int. & Priority Int. are the only options that offer any protection against damage/loss chargebacks because they can be processed & tracked online. International shipments are not tracked outside the U.S.A
I will consider shipping First Class International on small inexpensive items. F.C.I. is far less expensive but does not offer any tracking/damage/loss protection. If you would like me to ship using First Class International, please contact me before you bid.
Lost/Damaged Shipments:
In the rare event of a damaged/lost package issue, all claims MUST be processed through the carriers' claim processes.
If you receive a damaged shipment, stop unpacking it, save the packaging "as shipped", and contact me right away!
