Preamp Kit Guitar Piezo Pickup audio preamplifier Jfet

This is a General Purpose J-fet Guitar Preamp that works from a 9 Volt Battery. This is a kit that you need to put together but it is very simple with the detailed instructions. A J-Fet preamp give a sound like a Tube, it is great to use to overdrive the preamp to get tube like soft clipping, or you can use it clean to get brighter mid to high notes as it can drive the signal down the cable at a lower impedance and this reduces the cable capacitance on the high end. It will also work well on the Piezo Guitar pickups that I sell in my Ebay shop. This kit contains just 11 parts to make a great little preamp, it even has an adjustable bias pot so you can adjust the preamp for the sound that you want. It is so small that you can mount it inside your Guitar. The current draw from the Battery is very small so a 9 volt battery would last up to 200 hours.
