Predator 5.8mtr Aluminium Boat

This boat is one of the strongest boats made for the Australian Recreational fisherman, with 5mm hull and 5mm checkerplate floor. The area under the floor is totally airtight, thus providing added buonancy.

These boats were all built to NSW Maritime Survey standard (although this one was never in survey), with floatation under floor as well as under the gunwales.

As you can see from the photos she has a rear-centre console which provides the best possible ride, the only down side with the console in this position is that you can get wet in some sea conditions. We have been in some bad seas and there has never been a glimpse of a possible capsize - she is super stable and a fantastic fishing platform, you can fish 4 average size blokes on one side.

There are 2 sounders, a new Navman (black and white) which is excellent for daylight fishing, and a GME colour sounder (only really any good in poor light - excellent at night). There is a Navman GPS (no chart).

The above floor fuel tank holds 120lts of fuel, the tank is situated for'd and helps stabilise the boat, being above floor ensures that any possible leaks will be detected quickly and you don't have a hull full of fuel (bang!?), there is also an in-line canister fuel filter.

There is new smoky perspex in the centre console, rod holders for 12 rods.

The Motor is a 140Hp Johnson 4 stroke fitted new in 2006, and has about 300 hours on the clock.

The boat generally needs a bit of a tidy-up (polish, and detail) and the trailer (Dunbier) which I had customised needs a paint and one of the skids needs to be raised (not major). At the moment I don't have the time - hence the reason for selling.

This boat is fully functional and ready to fish. Over the last 6 months it has only been out a handful of times, and I hate seeing it sitting in the yard.

The boat is located at Narooma (NSW South Coast), - if you want to travel I am happy to give you a test run.

I know I won't be able to afford to replace this boat, and if you know boats you will realise that this is way below replacement cost. (Hull $17,500, Motor $16,000, trailer, gps, sounders, etc, etc,etc).
