Preglates exercise classes that are specifically designed py physiotherapists for the expectant mother.

Preglates aims to assist with:

  • Postural awareness and strengthening
  • Back care during pregnacy
  • Maintaining and training core strength
  • Training the pelvic floor
  • Flexibilty
  • Preparation for child birth
  • Preparation for the post natal period

The exercises are based on the traditional Pilates exercises and other contemporary physiotherapy approaches to strenghtering, posture and perparation for childbirth.

Pilates offers a mind body approach to exercise focusing on awareness of posture, gentle engagement of core stabilizing muscle, relaxation and breathing.
