Prince – 3x classic VHS tapes for collectors! “The Undertaker”, “The Sacrifice Of Victor” and “Sexy MF”

Here we have 3 VHS tapes featuring some of Prince's notorious “after party” performances from the mid 1990s, and the classic full  (uncensored) version of Sexy MF. All 3 tapes are in excellent condition (from a private one owner collction - not ex rentals) and have been checked on a clean machine just prior to listing and are still clean and crisp. Because they are not making VHS tapes any more this lot is both enjoyable and collectable! Dont miss this rare chance to own three original VHS tapes of these now classic Prince releases., some of which are not yet on DVD. The three tapes are:

1)   Prince Live – “The Sacrifice Of Victor”  – 1994

This film was made at the end of his Act II performance at Wembley Arena just as he changed his name to "The Artist". It was recorded at the Bagley’s warehouse in Kings Cross London one wet summer's eve and went on from 12.00 - 6 in the morning. The Video captures only a small proportion of what was a truly fantastic “after party” show of no more than 1000 or so lucky fans and celebrities crammed into a "school hall" type venue. This video is absolutely eye-opening. Running Time 46 Mins (approx) with performances of: The Ride, The Undertaker, Jailhouse Rock, House In Order, Call The Law, Heart in My Hand, Power Of Love, In The Mood, and finally Peach. This video features vocals from the likes of Mavis Staples and The NPG.

2)   Prince – The Undertaker – 1994

Focusing exclusively on Prince's guitar playing, The Undertaker is basically a segment of one of Prince’s famous after shows from the mid-90's. As well as this there is sort of a mini-story line involving Vanessa Marcil coming to Paisley Park, then passing out and having hallucinogenic images of Prince and Co. jamming but it's only there really as a reason to give the video some sort of narrative. At 40 minutes this is a sweet video that showcases just why Prince is so rated on guitar.

 
From the opening bluesy chords of 'The Ride' through to the crazed opening riff of 'Bambi' Prince is on top form throughout, as are the other two members of the 'Symbolic Three'; Michael B. and Sonny T. (who somehow keeps the repetitious bass line of the title track going for 10 minutes). For what it is 'The Undertaker' is essential buying 4 a Prince fan and it's also a chance to hear two still unreleased tracks in 'Poor Goo' and the title cut. 

3)   Prince - Sexy M – 1992

This is the full extended version of “You Sexy Mother F**ker” which is not censored in any way. Running time 9 minutes this beautifully shot video is Prince at his most sexy and provocative, and features an intresting promo for Carmen Electra. Yummy all round!

These 3 VHS tapes were released in early 1990s by Paisley Park through Warner Video and are all PAL Australian standard tapes, and they have been carefully stored, and only recently played once to confirm all is AOK. Not all have been released on DVD and as many VHS tapes are now being discarded for DVDs these will likely become collectable in their own right in years to come – so grab these 3 today! The Bidding

Please note that during some of my past auctions, some under bidders have later reported to me of being 'blocked out' during the last 30 seconds or so of the auction. My advice therefore is to bid early for the following reasons.

1) By getting the auction underway I will commit to selling the particular item on eBay, as some of my items are subject to prior sale elsewhere - if no bids have been placed. I reserve the right to end the auction.

 2) Bidding early avoids any possible network and server congestion preventing your bid being accepted. Please understand that neither your ISP nor eBay’s systems are perfect and can sometimes behave strangely, especially when you need them – such is the nature of any IT system! Remember that internet protocol = IP = intermittently possible!

The Terms

Obvious really … Don’t bid unless you are going to quickly pay! An online bank account with EFT capability will help this process enormously. Or you can walk into any branch of a WESTPAC bank, fill out a deposit slip and direct deposit.

The items are available for inspection, and have been reasonably well photographed and honestly described. Ask any questions you need to before you bid, and arrange any tests or inspections beforehand.

If you don’t have a valid phone number where you can be reached after the auction, seriously consider providing this with your ebay profile, as you maybe blocked from bidding by me, & many other vendors. If you are blocked please contact me – but don’t leave it to the last hour of the auction!

Remember, as the winning buyer you have agreed to purchase the items for the final value plus stated postage.

All nuisance, non paying, or non communicating bidders will have a Non Paying Bidder dispute opened after seven (7) days from close of auction. No exceptions. Ebay can award strikes to non paying bidders, and factual –FB will be left permanently on your profile. Remember, three non paying bidder strikes and you’re membership maybe suspended.

All sales are final, no warranty, no guarantee, no returns, and no refunds; my 10 day auction allows plenty of question time …!

I’m not responsible for Australia Post delays – and I usually post well within 48hrs of funds arriving. Communication is always preferred to confrontation. Life, ebay and people are not perfect, so if there is an issue lets talk (rather than email or -FB) about it, and try to happily resolve the situation. A little patience goes a long way in the world of online trading … really!

The Payment & Delivery

EFT / direct deposit then Reg Post for stated amount. I am happy to sensibly combine similar items from current auctions, so please wait until I send a combined invoice.

I will consider delivering in the Sydney (Australia) metro area, for an additional $15 fee in lieu of the Reg Post, depending on items size and fragility.
