This is a quality light kit, competitors sell similar quality kits sell for around $2700. The entire kit now comes in a Softcase and is smaller and more lightweight than many found in the shops. The complete packed kit weighs under 19 KG.
The Light Heads are engineered by a major overseas manufacturer of TV and film lighting gear and are of the highest quality. These lights are especially manufactured to Jet Creative Gear specifications and are used by some of world’s largest broadcasters and are built to take professional use.
The lights are equipped with barndoors, accessory holders, and there is a drop in wire mesh grille for your safety. Many cheap Red Heads are sold WITHOUT the accessory holder. The lights also have a very smooth focus and flood mechanism adjusted with the rear knob, minimising the chances of blowing a bulb when adjusting a hot light. See the photos below for more detail.
The Soft Cordura Carry bag is well padded and designed to take the roughest handling while still protecting the valuable contents. This allows faster setups and breakdowns. The bags come with padded dividers to separate and protect the lights and a compartment for the stands.
