render, mesh and animate your models. It im- and exports acad-files, step, iges and stl. you can create bmp, pdfs and ps formats.
Varicad requires KDE and OpenGl of course.

Forget about the agonizing slow java and python Cad programs, the  speed and reliability of Varicad gives you the edge.
The only drawback is its cost, it is so low that people just don't take it seriously.
