and Victoria. A year down the track I was able to purchase my own vehicles, and

OUR
STAFF:
We have modern two and three tonne trucks operating in
Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, that conduct daily local deliveries and
consolidation of interstate loads.
All our trucks and vans are
manned by either one or two of our friendly, fit, and experienced furniture
handlers, who are equipped with furniture removalist pads/blankets, trolleys, straps/webbing
etc.
The majority of our furniture handlers have fifteen or
more year’s experience. Some of our interstate drivers include Ezio, who
delivers items to locations such as Dubbo, Bathurst, Orange, & Blue
Mountains. Our interstate drivers include Jeff, Phil, Simon, James and Micheal,
who generally deliver our loads between our interstate depots in Brisbane,
Sydney, Melbourne & Perth. We also deliver to all major centres along
the coast from Sydney through to Cairns & Port Douglas. We also deliver to
some locations on the Hume Highway between Melbourne & Sydney.
OUR DEPOTS:
Our
interstate loads are consolidated in clean, modern, high security warehouses
that are professionally staffed and coordinated on a daily basis. These depots
are located in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
Once a Quick Carry load is consolidated it is
meticulously loaded onto a modern secure truck for interstate transport, and
items are not moved an inch in the load until it reaches the interstate
warehouse of destination, where it is loaded onto our smaller truck for
delivery.
THE
ORIGINS OF QUICK CARRY
When Byron began delivering eBay furniture items around
Melbourne & Victoria four years ago, he called the business ‘Quick Carry’,
as most local deliveries were able to be conducted within 24 hours. We now take
a more realistic approach, conducting local deliveries within a few days of
booking, and same day deliveries can be done for an extra fee. We deliver
interstate as fast as possible, which is usually a minimum of one to two weeks.
Customers need to understand that we supply demand. We specialise in the
delivery of eBay items, and that is all we deliver. When demand is high, our
interstate deliveries can take about a week. When demand is low, it can take
around a month, as we cannot send a truck interstate if we only have only a few
eBay items in the load. We need to wait sometimes until more bookings make the
load more feasible.

QUOTES:
Please
note that all quotes are for door to door delivery. Customers can save $50 if
sellers are prepared to deliver the item to our depot for interstate delivery,
and you can save a further $50 if you opt to collect your item from our depot
when it arrives.
NOTE: Call
volumes are always quite high, so there is usually a delay with phone response
if you don’t catch Byron or Mark and have to leave a message. It is always best
to email us with quote requests, as you will receive a faster response, and a
firm quote in writing. Via email you also receive our booking forms and details
of our operating procedures. Quotes received via telephone are usually a ball park
figure, as all factors of the item and delivery locations/access must be
considered, and a firm quote can only be obtained via email. All we need via
email is an item number or description/dimensions, and locations.
