The Quad 33 was one of the best Preamplifiers ever made.

Unfortunately after 20 years many components tend to dry out and some components available then were not at all comparable to the quality of modern components. A revision/upgrade will make your Quad sound better than ever before:

  • All Electrolytic Capacitors as well as some resistances are are replaced by new high quality ones.
  • The power-supply voltage is increased from 11 to 12 volts and regulated, giving better stability.
  • The input-sensitivity is adapted to your input-sources like your CD-player or PU-element.
  • The amp is completely cleaned and all dust is removed (no luxury after 20+ years) with professional products.
  • The amp will be fully calibrated for optimal performance with professional lab equipment.
  • The amp can be fully adapted to your power-amplifier.
