GENUS ACACIA PODALYRIFOLIA

With over 800 species of Australian acacia to choose from there is an acacia for almost any situation but of course some are more ornamental or useful than others and care should be taken to choose the species most suited to your individual conditions and needs.

The Silver Wattle, Acacia podalyrifolia, is one of the best of the acaia making a fine showing with its masses of bright yellow flowers and attractive silvery foliage. A tall shrub or small tree to some 8 metres tall and 5 in width, it will take some light pruning to determine height. This is a fast-growing species that can take Canberra cold It is quick growing and can flower in its second year. It prefers a well-drained soil in a sunny position.

This auction is for  30 seeds. Item shipped by ordinary mail upon receipt of clear funds. Postage cost of 60 cents. ***Save 50% postage & handling on additional lots that are combined for shipment.
