One of the very last paper $100 notes ever printed!

The introduction of polymer technology to Australia's banknotes in 1988 sent the numismatic world into a spin. The 1988 Bicentennial notes were only issued for a year, while the paper $100 note wasn't fully replaced by a polymer note until 1996.

Although a lot of people thought it'd be a great idea to set some of the old paper notes aside "for the kids", not many thought to get the rarest serial numbers available, or to only keep them if they were in mint condition. This particular note has the ZLD serial prefix, which shows that it was one of the last million notes printed. It is absolutely crisp and natural condition, and doesn't have a hint of a fold or a flick to it. We grade it as being in Uncirculated condition.
