This railway clock was picked up in the 1960's by my family after the government disposed of it. It was made by Ansonia Clock company of Boston New York probably in the very late 1800's. It has a description of having been awarded with a prize at the 1878 Paris Expo. Overall it is in good condition but is missing the winding key. The glass on the face of the main window is missing but would easily be replaced as it was flat plain glass. You will note that in one picture a small piece of laminated wood is missing from the edge of the knob as well as a smaller bit from the bottom centre. The face measures 31cm diameter and the overall size is 42cm x 63cm. This clock was still working as of 2004 when it went into storage and I see no reason to believe it won't work again. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask and I will answer to the best of my ability. Thank you and happy bidding
