RARE ART DECO SHELL TOURING BOOK VICTORIA

Presentation to "Mr J. Bennett" of a large Shell Map Wallet, consisting of  introductory booklet with lots of touring info (camping, fishing, shooting etc),  index of places throughout Victoria - some with brief descriptions, and a list of Shell Company products; one large map of Victoria, and 5 out of 6 segment maps of Victoria: Package itself with great art deco design on front, information about Motor Car Act & Melbourne City Council Regulations, and back cover of Shell logo with Australia, old petrol bowser and oil standard bottles.

To us this is a really unusual Shell product, not just because of age but because of the unusual non-red Shell image portrayed and the very unusual art deco design.

CONDITION: Folder is somewhat knocked about and has water staining at base, and staples rusting. One map (No. 5 - South Western corner) missing.... Maps themselves are quite beautiful and are near excellent  (slight marking having come through from the water mark), clearly having had virtually no use.
Despite its damage, a rare & superb Shell product.
