this auction is for a very scarce Bradley & Hubbard cast iron blinking eye clock, case only, the clock mechanism and eyes are missing, according to the information i have found in researching this clock there are believed to be fewer than 20 in existence making it a very scarce item, the case is in very good to exellent condition with no chips or cracks and only some very minor surface rust but no pitting, there are still remnants of the original paint in the crevices on the casting, the only minor fault is that one of the original screws is missing and the other is seized and i did not want to force it, stamped on the inside of one side is "BRADLEY & HUBBARD PATENT APPLIED FOR 1858" and on the inside of the other side is "PCF" the base is 26cm by 15cm and it is 20.5cm high and weighs 2.54kgs.
