A MUST HAVE for the serious collector, this incredible vintage gown was created by C. Randall Brooks, friend and designer to Veruschka's muse. His prominance in Verushka's career and life is evident by a cursory online search (i.e. google, ask) of the famed model's history and career. Not only is this gown exclusive and rare... it is in pristine condition - ready to wear. Cause a sensation in this unique and incredibly elaborate evening gown.

The gown is a confection of ruched and ruffled tulle, which is intricately worked over a black satin interior. The tulle is finely ruched all around the gown, with a lean and form-fitting narow silhouette.

The gown has a single shoulder on the right and is strapless on the left side. There is a deeply ruffled "sleeve" on the right, which is made from three layers of sheer tulle, with the embroidered red heart layer on top, then a stiff interior black layer with another layer of solid black tulle beneath. These three layers are held together by the red satin ribbon edging, which has some wiring to give it curly volume and structure.

There is a deep left side ruffled edge running from the waist all around to include the hem. The side ruffle is two-sided, and there is a ruffled edge on both sides of the left sideseam zipper. The zipper ends at lower hip height, and the double sided ruffle continues the length of the dress to split at about knee height to form the hemline ruffle. All of the ruffled edges are edged in the red satin ribbon, which has structure from a wired interior.

The gown has an interior grosgrain "couture" ribbon at the waistline, which closes with a wide black metal hook closure. The lining is a black satin.

MEASUREMENTS: There is no size label; the gown is believed to have been created for a specific couture client and has no indication of size or fabric content. The gown will fit small sizes.
